Natalia was born and raised in Colombia, spent her teens and twenties in Canada, and is now happily based in the Netherlands.

At the age of four, Natalia was already singing in front of an audience. From attending concerts with her mother at her university’s auditorium to dancing at family parties and performing in school shows, her early life was filled with music and movement. During her high school years in Colombia, she represented her school in intercollegiate singing competitions and took to the air as a flyer in the school’s award-winning cheerleading squad.

Shortly after moving to Canada, she stepped into the Swing world in December 2004. Completely captivated by this new world, Natalia devoted her remaining high school years to immersing herself in the culture of Swing and Jazz music and dance. Now, over two decades later, she has shared her passion for these art forms, teaching across North America, Central America, Europe, and Asia.

While her focus shifted to performing and teaching dance, Natalia never lost her love of singing. After arriving in the Netherlands, she returned to it, and soon, The Swing Rhythm Club was born. Together with her Swing-dancing friend and lifelong guitarist, Alexis, she co-founded a successful sextet that has performed for Swing clubs and events throughout the Netherlands.

For the past seven years, Natalia has also been the voice of international Swing festivals, setting the tone with warmth, humour, and vibrant energy as an MC. Today, she spends her weekends hopping from stage to dance floor with gratitude and respect for the traditions to which she has dedicated most of her life.
